NEW WORK
As I create new work, I will be posting the new pieces on this page, as well as in their relevant categories.
Keep an eye on this page - new work will be appearing here regularly.
WALNUT THREE-ARM COFFEE TABLE
A different kind of coffee table, with three "arms" reaching out to those seated around it. The top is a live-edge slab cut into 3 pieces; 2 of the arms have exotic wood butterflies. An experimental piece. You can read more about it on my new "Musings" (blog) page. (Category = Coffee Tables)
MAPLE SLAB COFFEE TABLE
A solid maple coffee table (probably sugar maple, considering 2 holes that appear to be taps for drawing maple syrup); with white oak legs and rear support. I bought this slab when I was at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts (in Maine), in 2017, directly from the shop that cut it down and dried it. (Category = Coffee Tables)
SINGING BOWL STAND
I have been making stands for my collection of Tibetan Singing Bowls for a while. These bowls will "sing" when struck, or rubbed with their mallet. They are used in meditation (for help in focusing), and provide a rich, soothing tone. Most of these stands are big leaf maple burl. When purchased, the bowl and mallet are included. ("Singing Bowl Stands" is a new category in "Other Work".)
